Another Way to Save on Your Grocery Bill!

share

I stumbled across this organization the other day and thought it would be a great opportunity to save some money on some products such as meat and produce that you can't find on sale in the store or have a coupon for. This organization is for Florida, but is available in other states as well. Google "share food network" with your state and you should find the organization close to you. They ask that you volunteer on bagging day and packing to take part in their discount prices, but it is not required. It'd be great if you have a student that needs volunteer hours because they'll use volunteers as young as 15 years old. A sample of what they are offering this month is below. It has a retail value (according to their website) of $36. You pay only $18.

1.7 lbs Tray Pack Chicken Legs
12 oz. Fully Cooked Mesquite Diced Chicken
1 lb. Deli Sliced Turkey Breast
12 oz. Sandwich Steaks
1 lb. Center Cut Pork Chops

They also offer single items off of a menu list, but you'll need to check your local host site for availability of select items. I plan on trying it out this month. I hope you do too!!
