Wow I've been busy.... but had a garage sale!

Well, I wanted to do a updated daily coupon site, but working full time and my 6 month old don't let that happen! Hopefully I'll be able to get it off the ground SOMETIME in the near future.

I did have a garage sale on Saturday and sold a bunch of my stockpile items. Shampoo, toothpaste, deoderant, air fresheners, etc. Considering it was a pretty slow day for garage sales, we made about $500, and about $300 of that was my stockpile items!!! I was very impressed with myself as it was the first time I'd done a garage sale like that. My big sellers were $1 toothpaste, 2/$1 Suave shampoo, 2/$1 Glad Cling Wrap, $2 Sunscreen, 2/$1 Glade Scented Gel, $2 Glade Motion Air Fresheners and.... wait for it...... Crystal Light!!! LOL I was shocked. I sold them for $1 a piece and they went like hot cakes. Not bad when they were BOGO at Publix and I think I spent $.97 for 6! I was surprised though that the deoderant didn't sell very well. I think I only sold 6 at $1 each.
